In romantic Mecklenburg-West Pomerania, almost in the middle between Hamburg and Berlin, surrounded by dreamy ponds and picturesque lakes, you will find the imposing, 230-year-old castle with its eventful history. Vietgest Castle reopened in 2020 as a cultural and event location as well as a castle hotel.

As owners, we have not only made the castle our new home, but also bring our experience from almost 500 weddings and more than 500 concerts to make the place accessible and lively. The interior is still in progress: In the future, we will have space for up to 60 beds, half of which have already been completed.

In addition to the spectacular baroque hall with 4.80 m ceiling height and the inspiring garden salon with winter garden, you can feel the charm of what we call modern nobility in the lobby, the library, the private salon and when strolling through the enchanting park.

All our events have a private character and are personally hosted. With regards to the equipment and systems, the almost 2,000 square meter castle was brought into the 21st century by "modern-noble" facilities, an elevator, an ecological air heat pump heating system, a photovoltaic system and charging stations for electric cars for our guests.
